Climate Action Grants Clearinghouse
In our research, we found many funding sources, but no single clearing house or resource that gathers them all. In Spring 2021, we gathered as many grants as we could find, relevant to Hudson Valley climate change work, in a list that our partners at the Capital District Regional Planning Commission keep up to date. A huge thank you goes out to Haley Balcanoff and Jill Henck of the Capital District Regional Planning Commission, Dazzle Ekblad of DEC’s Office of Climate Change, and our intern from Bard’s Center for Environmental Policy, Iris Burbank for working with PCA to develop this resource!

Cornell and DEC’s climate partnership has compiled a list of funding resources all related to adaptation and resiliency. These are all geared towards communities within the Hudson River Estuary. Eligible activities include municipal planning, resilient infrastructure and structures, emergency management, economic revitalization, public outreach, and natural solutions like sustainable shorelines, green infrastructure and floodplain protection.
